Read LTE network parameters

Hello

I'm requesting a feature (since I can't find a way to do this?) to read all relevant LTE network parameters from the connected network when using the nRF9160.

When using the Online Power Profiler there are some parameters that need to be entered. It would be good if these parameters could be read from the nRF9160.

This would also be extremely useful in tweaking and optimizing application behavior, at runtime, based on parameters in the current network. When optimizing for power the application could determine the most efficient behavior (intervals, buffers, etc.) based on network parameters such as:
iDRX interval
cDRX interval
cDRX on duration
cDRX inactivity timer
iDRX PDCCH repetitions

Could you please consider this?

Hi,

We are working on a tool that will let you read out these parameters, amongst other features to help you debug the nRF9160 and network problems.

Unfortunately, I am not able to provide a timeline for when this tool will be ready.

But, you can already read out the iDRX interval. This is the same as the "eDRX" value. You can use AT+CEDRXS to request it, and AT+CEDRXRDP to see the network provided value.

That sounds great! Hope it does not take too long before we get it.

I know iDRX is same as eDRX when eDRX is used but I also want to read out the iDRX interval when eDRX is not used (for example 640ms, 1.28s etc.). This is currently not possible as far as I know.
