direction finding current optimization

Hi,

1/ Is it mandatory for Direction Finding process to have all streaming advertising messages from beacon to locator connectable ?

2/ Is it possible/easy to manage live the advertising interval ?
For instance , have a 500ms interval for general purpose location and dynamically decide to get it down to 100ms when approaching an aera needing more accuracy and minimum latency?

Hi Laurent, 

1. No, it is not mandatory to use connectable advertising to run DF.
2. The Adv. interval may be managed as in case of any other use-cases. There are no additional requirements introduced by the direction-finding implementation.
