nRF5x pynrfjprog vs nrfjprog and...

Maybe this is just a little nuisance but  is there a difference pynrfjprog and nrfjprog ?
There is no documentation on nfrjprog !

Searching infocenter for nrfjprog reports "Nothing found."

+++++++++++++++++++++

On a side note ( I didn't want to open an issue on this one)

Why is there a tag for "13 - 18 November" ? Disappointment? Green? Intermediate??

++++++++++++++++++++++++

On yet another side note, might it be time to split out VERY old problems in to  an archived version?
Some of the results returned also old( 6 years) as to be confusing and no longer appropriate or even incorrect.
I am not suggesting removing them, only that not be included in the initial search but perhaps referenced as something like:
"Didi you want to try looking for older answers??"

There might me more new issues if results didn't return an overwhelming

  • Hi,

    Maybe this is just a little nuisance but  is there a difference pynrfjprog and nrfjprog ?

    pynrfjprog is a Python interface for the nrfjprog DLL. You can find its documentation here: nRF pynrfjprog

     Yes, there is. nrfjprog is part of nRF Command Line Tools and is documented under this.

    Searching infocenter for nrfjprog reports "Nothing found."

    I got 434 matches:

    Why is there a tag for "13 - 18 November" ? Disappointment? Green? Intermediate??

    I assume the page lists tags used by other users. You can add any tags you want, not just the predefined ones.

    A lot of the old answers are still valid and relevant for new users today. Going through all and deciding which should be listed and not would be a giant task. You can select "Past week"/"Past Month"/Past year" when searching to limit to newer answers.

    Your search string includes many "generic" words, which may cause the search engine to misinterpret what you are looking for. This may including more results than desired. I would rather recommend you to try searching for something more specific to your problem.
