Error while flashing firmware on to the development board in DFU mode.

Hi,

I'm working on DFU secure bootloader through ble, Im trying with the example packages provided by Nordic and I use nrfToolbox app on mobile to flash the firmware on to the development board nrf52840.

The file selected is of zip format and the status is Ok, the device gets connected to mobile Bluetooth as well , as soon as I click on update option it says 'DFU file not found' .

What might be the issue, please support.

Hi,

It seems like the nRF Toolbox app is not able to load the .zip file. There have been reports in the past about similar issues with some android file managers (see for instance this thread). If the file manager extracts the DFU file automatically it will not work. Could that be the issue? Which file manager are you using? What happens if you use another file manager, or a different Android device?
