How does connection interval influences power consumption

There is a blog post for advertising but none for connection interval.

I am wondering how big is the difference for this example:

Measurement on peripheral every 4 seconds, sent via HVX to central every 4 second

only thing changed: Connection intervall 500ms or 4000ms. On what formula could I calculate power consumption of "a connection".. when nothing but "Still there bud?" is transmitted?

I am wondering what will be the total power consumption of my peripheral.. ~15ms measurement every 4seconds and 8byte HVX

I have updated the blog post with some connection examples as well. The purpose is to give an idea how different parameters affect the current consumption. I have added cases S110 peripheral connection (example 6) and S110 peripheral connection (example 7) to address your specific use case. I have also tried to explain in a comment how to calculate the current consumption of application processing.

The current consumption guide lists the parameters that are needed in order to estimate current consumption.
