Inorder to flash the softdevice to evaluation board PCA10024, i tried using nrfgo studio as mentioned in the user guide.but the nrfgo studio does not show any board connected under motherboards in device manager and hence i am not able to flash the softdevice,which i understand is necessary for a bluetooth program to be burned into the board also the nrf51 programming button under device manager in nrfgo studio looks blurred (can't be selected) .but nrf dongle when connected is detected with the nrfgo studio.
is it because the tool does not support PCA10024.
is it necessary to burn the softdevice to the board to execute ble program?if so,please be kind enough to help me sort out this issue.is there any alternate ways to flash the softdevice to the board
