nRFgo Motherboard and nRF24 cannot find driver so no device is recognized in nRFgo Studio.

Hi There,

I have downloaded the nRFgo studio and nRFgo SDK and other files found here: https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Low-power-short-range-wireless/nRF24-series

I have plugged in the motherboard to my computer and my device manager is giving me this error to update my driver:

 

Should I find the USB drivers in this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Nordic Semiconductor\nRFgo Studio\usb_drivers

I am not sure which driver I should point to: 

If anyone could help, that would be great. Thanks!

Hi,

Unfortunately, some of the the nRFgo dependencies won't work well with Windows 10. You need to use Windows 7 for some of the tools that was required for development and debugging with the nRFgo platform.

The nRFgo SDK and Studio was intended for the nRF24L series, which was originally developed 10+ years ago. It's not longer recommended to use these for new development.

Our latest tools are now nRF Connect and only support the nRF5x-series:

So, for new development I strongly recommend to look at the nRF52-series instead:

The latest nRF5 SDK is v17.0.2:
