is BLE connectivity strength directional?

Is the BLE connectivity offered by the nRF52840 (upon which the Arduino Nano 33 BLE is based, I think) DIRECTIONAL?  Should the board be oriented in any particular way to maximize the range of BLE visibility to other boards "in front" of it?  Thanks in advance for any guidance...

This depends on the antenna they have used, you should check with Arduino.
