Does nRF52832 chip require underfilling during production?

We have a wristband application using the nRF52832. Does chip require underfilling during production?

Whether this is required or not depends on the mechanical strain to the chip. For any wearable device, underfilling will give a more robust product. If flex PCB is used, underfilling is mandatory. See this application note for more:
