NRF24L01 + rfx2411

Hello,

We are not finding RFX2401C on the market for sale and we are looking for a PA for the NRF24L01+.

We found the alternative RFX2411, is it safe to assume we can pair NRF24 with this PA?

Also we are thinking of using the balun 2450BM14A0002 and the low pass the 2450BP1400100, can you confirm these are proper matches for the RF network.

Regarding 2450BP1400100 it seems to be a part not easy to find, can you please provide an alternative part for this?

Hi,

Thanks for the response, it's an old product that we want to make a new revision with improved RF, so its not on the plans to change chip soon. Even if they are not recommended are they compatible with the Balun, bandpass and PA we purpose?

Regarding the nRF52 series, are any of them directly compatible with the nRF24?

The main concerns in changing chips are

 - The compatibility between chips, we want new revisions still to be able to talk with old products that are already on the market.

 - Firmware changes time/cost to implement the change.

The nRF52 series support Enhanced ShockBurst 1 and 2 mbit, (250k is no longer supported).

I will ask one of our RF engineers to take a look at the PA and filter alternative (will be next week due to vacations).

The Balun specification states it supports the L01+ so that should be fine.
