I guess this is more a suggestion than an issue: The power profiler kit II software, when operating in "Ampere meter" mode has the power switch connected to "on" as a default setting. This means that power is inmediately switched on when I select the "device". I think it would be preferable to have this as "off" per default, as the "on" setting by just selecting the device might be a surprise to some users (it was to me). "off" first gives the time to adjust the rest of the settings, start the sampling and _then_ switch power on, so we can also observe the transient. If this is not desireable for some users it would be good to be able to set this as an option in the software (startup on/off), I have not found a way to do so. The physical power switch can not be used for this as it resets the device.
Great product this power profiler, it is now my number one power source for all low power stuff, it is so easy to check precise power consumption over a wide range "on the fly". More than once I have found a bug just by looking at the power consumption.
