Device restarting for no obvious reason

Hi, 

When I connect my device to an external power supply, it restarts randomly. It sometimes happens once every minute, sometimes once every 10 minutes. I couldn't find a pattern. 

Is there a way to figure out the reason somewhere in the software? I'm almost sure this is not a 100% HW issue, I changed a lot of things today in the SW only, and yesterday the device was not restarting :( However, when I just power it from the USB it does not restart.

Please, give me some advice. I will try to change the power supply but for now I only have one.

You can also check the reason for a reset in the RESETREAS register, in case this is caused by HW issue and not a soft reset executed by software.

Ok. I did what it says in the thread you linked. And voila, my app stopped on the breakpoint at the infite loop in the app_error.c. My stack looks like this.

Am I right to read from it, that the device run out of memory? How is this possible if I'm not using any dyamic variables?

You are not necessarily running out of general memory on the chip, but as the API documentation for app_timer_start() explains, you get the NRF_ERROR_NO_MEM "If the timer operations queue was full."

You can configure the operation queue size when you call APP_TIMER_INIT() to initialize the library.

Ok. I increased the size of the queue by 1, as it migh happen that it could overfill in deed.For now it seems to wok fine. Thanks.
