Is there any difference in terms of RF performance between different hardware versions of nRF52840? Can someone point me to the relevant documentation?

This document describe the changes going from rev1 to rev2 of the nRF52840:

There is no changes to radio performance, you can find description of the fixed erratas here:

One question: based on the documentation nRF52840 chip version QIAAAA is Engineering A and QIAAC0 is revision 1, correct?
