NRF Connect programming- Error overlapping data around address

Dear sir,

Our code gets compiled using command emBuild.exe  For programming NRF Connect Programmer tool is used.

I get following error while hex file is added to  programmer tool "overlapping data around address 0x2666c"

Segger version 5.34

Controller NRF52833

I have not changed the RAM & FLASH placement memory address.

In our application in different places mem compare function is used.Mapfile.rar

When commented these function the above issues is not seen.

I have attached 2 map files.

Would like to understand cause of the issue.

Some more information,

Generated hex file if flashed from SES, no issues seen.

Issue is only seen with nrfconnect-programmer tool v1.4.8

Hi,

Are you merging application with the Softdevice before loading everything with the nRF connect programmer app? Merger tool only helps to combine different hex file into 1 file?.

The merghex tool allows you to merge multiple hex files into one like you said. But you must be encountering a different issue if you are not using this tool. Are you able to share the hex files and your emProject file here?

Issue solved by using nrf command line tool v10.10.
