Would like to use older version of NRF Connect PPK software

I updated my Power Profiler software on the NRF Connect Desktop software.

Immediately after switching to the new GUI, I noticed a significant change in power performance of my device under test (DUT).

Considering that no one else on the forums seems to have noticed this sort of change in the measurement, It seems likely that it's a coincidence and that something changed with my DUT setup. But I'd like to verify all the same.

How can I download the previous version of the power profiler software?

Is there anything that may have changed in the sampling or current calculation etc. that may actually result in different readings?

Hi,

You can install local apps as described in Installing local apps.

Link to older packages may be found inside the application sources.

I'm not aware of any changes that should decrease the performance. The new app is optimized for working with the new PPK2, which have much higher sample rate, but it should still support the original PPK.

Hi Jorgen, thanks this worked to get me set up on an older version! And, unsurprisingly, that wasn't my issue with power draw changing
