ADC on the NRF51 Dongle

Hi,

As an alternative to writing a configration software for my device (a native app for windows or maybe android) I,m considering putting physical controls on the device body. I need to set up 3 parameters which are integeres in a preset ranges (0-9500, 50-250, 50-250). Normally I would do this with POTS, but I can't see any ADC on the dongle that I could use. Am I wrong? What's the alternative?

Hi,

Not sure which dongle you are referring to, but you will need to check the schematic and which gpios that are accessible. You can then refer to the nRF51822 product specification if any of those gpio's can be used as anlog input for the internal adc.

Soldering a wire to the processor pin seems rather hard ;)

I will check if the NRF52 dongles is different in this regard.
