HOW TO USING NRF MESH (VERSION 3.1.0)

Question

hi 
 All video I can found from youtube and nordic website : 
 (such as https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-tools/Development-Tools/nRF-Mesh/GetStarted#infotabs ) 
 are using very old version nrf mesh app!!!! 
 
 And I very appreciate the old version , at least it is easy to understand how to provision a device node for a new beginner. 
 
 About the Latest version ,3.1.0, don't understand why change too much UE, almost launched a new style application. 
 Totally confused by the new UI , No entry for add a node , can not found how to "add new device" to a network; Made one new network and confused that one device create one network but can not add other device more.? 
 Could ANYONE can share me a new version NRF MESH app user guide?

Hello, 
 The new versions of nRF Mesh apps have many more features than the old ones did, so the UI had to be modified, in many places complicated. We did what we could to make them as easy as possible, but indeed, they are very complicated, as they demonstrate how the mesh network can be set up in a very low level, almost one to one with what the nrf mesh library is doing. The intended user should have knowledge about how Bluetooth mesh works and what steps are needed to configure a node. 
 I can imagine, that a final app based on the nrf mesh libraries can have very different approach, and make the UI easy to use for beginners, with a lot things automated, skipped or hidden. 
 In nRF Mesh sample apps, to provision a new device, open the Network tab and click + in the top-right corner. This will open a screen with a list of nearby unprovisioned mesh devices. Click one to identify the device. It should blink, make noise, etc, so that you know which device you're connected to. On the next screen select the Network Key you want to send to the device and provide the Unicast Address. First available one is automatically provided. If you need more Network Keys, or you need to extend the Unicast Range for your provisioner (your phone you're working on, you can do that on the Settings screen). With that, click Provision button at the top, and select OOB method if needed. 
 When the node is provisioned, it will show up on the Network screen. In iOS app you'll also see there your provisioner (phone), as the iOS version supports receiving messages as server, not only client. That means you may also configure the phone's models, just the same way as models on a remote node.

 Good sugestion is never try to use the IOS version. use Android apk, you can choose any version you like.
