Using the nRF52840 with only internal RC oscillator possible ?

Hi!

I want to use the N52840 without any external xtal due to very constrained space and no need for BLE in this application.

The idea behind is to use the same chip which is utilized in other BLE enabled applications.

Would it be possible to run the chip with the internal RC oscillator only?

Hi,

if you don't need radio, neither NFC and USB, it's ok to use internal RC oscillator. Also, for stable UART communication, you may need to adjust baud rate value for each chip (8% RC tolerance is out of allowable range for UART)
