LE Audio Support for BIS/CIS for nrf5340

Hi, is there any LE audio sample for NRF5340?

I know the upper layer protocol is under developing on Bluetooth SIG, but is there any possible way to direct use the HCI command to drive setup a LE isochronous channel?

  • We have not yet released an SDK for Bluetooth 5.2 and Isochronous channels. It is in development however, an you can contact our Sales department for more information on this by filling out our Sales Related Questions form here. We never discuss roadmaps and upcoming releases here on DevZone, as we strive to focus on what's currently available.

Additional information that might be interesting: You can check out this blog post on Bluetooth LE Audio that was posted just before the holidays last year. The nRF5340 will be the recommended SoC for LE Audio support, as the dual core solution will allow it to run both the radio and the required LC3 codec (which will require a dedicated processor).

    Best regards,

    Simon
