Sample Projects Using the nRF Connect v1.5 SDK do not compile

I am trying to build the aws_fota example project for the nRF9160 using the nRF Connect SDK and the Segger IDE. We currently have v1.5.0 downloaded. The project is not compiling. There are definitions missing (they are defined in the make files) and include files are not present in the project. Unlike developing for the nRF52840, I cannot find options to add include directories or preprocessor defines. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The resolution was that I was not using the non-secure version of the nRF9160 defines.

Yes, that is correct. You have to use the non-secure firmware for this application. Good to hear though that you could solve the issue.
