When I cancel the part that caused the error, this time I get the same error message for the operation on line 285.

Why is there a problem when starting these two timers?

Hi,

The typical reason for getting NRF_ERROR_INVALID_STATE when calling app_timer_start() is that the timer was not properly created. I cannot say much more without seeing more about your code and knowing which SDK version you use and possibly which app timer implementation (app_timer.c or app_timer2.c).
