nrf52811 as a central (Low power Periodic Scanning)

I have a use case where I need to scan for certain range of BLE MAC address periodically and then do certain set of actions based on the results.

Most of the places I have read that nrf52811 is not suited as a central role nor can I find any working example of Low power ble scanning from nrf.

Can someone shed some light onto it? If a working example can be shared, that would be best and if it's not suited, can anyone suggest, which version/model of nrf I should use for periodic low power ble scanning.

Indeed - see: https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Low-power-short-range-wireless

it's one of the "Lower-end nRF52 Series SoCs" - intended for low-cost, simple applications.

In particular, the reduced Flash & RAM make these less suited to Central roles.

Not impossible - just less capable.

Not sure what you mean by that?

Any Central would have to do scanning in order to pick up advertisements.
