NRF9160 SUPL error: 3 timeout expired

Hello, 

I have a problem that sometimes the supl_client_session() function halts the system by not finishing and ending the session while getting the timeout expired SUPL error: 3 after multiple attempts of reading. 

Is there any documentation that states what the error represents, and could you look into it?

Hi,

 

We have seen these retries in scenarios where the GPS is running while you start the AGPS SUPL session. Could you try to stop the GPS before opening the supl session? https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-nrf/blob/master/samples/nrf9160/gps/src/main.c#L334

 

The error 3 is a generic error from the libsupl. I'll input a improvement report internally that we need to translate these into more human readable error codes.
