Scanning for all nearby base stations with nrf9160DK

Hi,

I am pretty new to telecommunications and AT-commands in particular. What I want to do is: 

-Scan all nearby base stations (BS), and read all available information.

The information I am interested in is:

- The localization of the BS

- All other information useful to do geolocation.

I cannot find a suited AT-command for scanning all BS's, and requesting such information. Is there such an AT-command at all? If there is an suitable sample application, that would of course help a lot. 

Do you have a summary of what information is available for my device with connection to a BS, and also without?

Hello Marius, 

Our nRF91 AT Commands documentation is found in our Infocenter. The closest command I can find is AT%NBRGRSRP. The set command reads measured Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) values of neighboring cells.

To test AT commands, please look at the AT_client sample or use the built-in AT client in Asset Tracker application.

Do you know whether the coordinates of a BS are available, with or without connection? I found this example, and I am looking for something similar.

No, we do not have any samples similar to that. We are not using GSM either.
