OpenThread application working in ncs 1.4.0 but not in 1.5.0

I have implemented a OpenThread application. The application connects to a Thread Border Router. I'm using ncs and when using version 1.4.0 everything works fine, I can connect and communication with the border router. When building and flashing with ncs 1.5.0, no change to the code, kconfig, dts or anything, the application doesnt connect to the openThread network. The application runs and everything but cannot connect to the border router. I have looked through the release notes in 1.5.0 and don't find anything that would affect this, except for changes in the OpenThread library.

Have you implemented any changes to the OpenThread set up between 1.4.0 and 1.5.0? Does all of your application still work with the border router going from 1.4.0 to 1.5.0? Do you have any idea how to proceed?

Hi,

OpenThread no longer includes the default masterkey. If you have not set this explicitly in your application, the devices may not join the same network.

See this commit for changes to the coap_server/client examples in NCS v1.5.0.
