position finding with nrf5340

Hi Nordic Team,

We are considering basing our next design on nrf5340. 

nrf5340 implements direction finding: is it possible to use direction finding to estimated the distance between the product (implementing only 1 nrf5340 chip and configured as peripheral / server) to the smart device it is connected to ?

I would assume that at least 2 nrf5340 have to be used for positing finding. Am I correct?

Hi Marlene, 

Direction finding will not give the distance. Only the direction, so this can not be used for distance. Please contact your regional sales manager (RSM) for the distance measure. If you don't know the RSM's info, please send me a private message. I will reply with the contact info.
