how to control mesh network by linux

Dear Devzone community,

we would create a mesh network, provisioning and control it from linux. Which is the best way to do it?

We are using nRF Connect SDK, all the examples use nRF Mesh that is only for Android or IOS and not for Linux.

Hi,

While one option is to use our interactive pyaci, that option requires a DK or Dongle for providing connectivity to the mesh network.

For native Bluetooth operation from a GNU/Linux system you can use BlueZ, which has support also for Bluetooth mesh. You then use the Bluetooth capabilities of the OS, which may be using either hardware already part of the machine, or a HCI dongle connected to the computer providing the Bluetooth support. Bluetooth SIG has a study guide for deploying BlueZ on a Raspberry Pi board and use it as a mesh provisioner. It is similar for other GNU/Linux systems.
