beacon + DFU + buttonless

Hi
I trying to develop a module in the 52810. I want use te ble_app_beacon and add a DFU buttonless. I was able to add the DFU, but when i was to integrate the buttonless part i got an error during the initialisation. I followed the dfu buttonless tutorial.

I got 0x04 error after the init.

Hi,

Error code 0x04 is NRF_ERROR_NO_MEM, and it can come from several API calls inside of ble_dfu_buttonless_init(). You could do a debug session, and check for each function call returning an err_code there, which one returns the error.

Most likely you have not configured the SoftDevice correctly for the number of vendor specific UUIDs needed, leading to the sd_ble_uuid_vs_add() call to fail. If that is the error, you need to increase the number of vendor specific UUIDs through increasing NRF_SDH_BLE_VS_UUID_COUNT in the BLE Stack configuration section of sdh_config.h.

Hi, 

I run it in debug session to see where the error append. It append in this fuction

 err_code = ble_dfu_buttonless_char_add(&m_dfu);

And i went in this function the error append there  

 return characteristic_add(p_dfu->service_handle, &add_char_params, &p_dfu->control_point_char); in ble_dfu_unbonded.c

Right. Then the error comes from characteristic_add(), which calls and returns the value from sd_ble_gatts_characteristic_add(). NRF_ERROR_NO_MEM when trying to add a characteristic might mean that the att table is too small. Try increasing NRF_SDH_BLE_GATTS_ATTR_TAB_SIZE in sdk_config.h.

I am able to run the sotfware but i don't see the DFU. Is it to have the beacon and the butonless in the same time on the module in the 52810

Hi,

What services do you see when connecting to the device? You can figure out for instance by connecting from nRF Connect for Desktop or nRF Connect for iOS or Android. Then share screenshot here.

I tried to upload the software by DFU and i got this error

So there is a way to implement add a DFU buttonless in ble_app_beacon  on the 52810
