Bricked nRF52840-DK

It was my first time working with the Segger embedded IDE

SEGGER Embedded Studio for ARM

and NRF52840-DK.

When I did plug the NRF52840-DK, it appeas as a new USB memory device.

Then I try to debug the compiled software (ble_app_template_pca10056_s140 example), The IDE indicates that needs to update the emulation software to new software release. I press acept. It speends a few seconds and then goes out with an "update failure". The green light of the NRF5280 flash, but not USB device appears. If I restart the computer and restart on Segger Ide and try to debug, it indicates that no emulator connected to USB, but it is (with the green light flashing).

I did try with different cables and also on differente PCs, but no USB device appears, and allways the green light of NRF52840flashing.

What can I do to repair the NRF52840DK?

Hi,

try to hold IF BOOT/RESET button while powering on the board, it should enter bootloader mode - a new USB storage drive should appear. Then copy j-link firmware to that drive and power-cycle the board.
