About the HID function

Hi,

   We have developed some features of HID mouse with some buttons.  Just like  "music Pause/Start"  "Volume up and Volume down" . So, how to achieve "Back/Forward" in website or

turn E-Book page when I connected to PC or mobile phone.

The SDK is nRF_SDK_14.2,and the softdevice is S112 in nRF52810.

Are you asking how this is done generically within the standard USB HID profile (not Nordic specific)?

Or do you know the "standard", are you're just asking how to implement that on a Nordic device?

We are using the ble_app_hid_mouse and not the USB_HID. The SDK have proivded the example of  media, and I want to know how to achieve other features I said before.

I think the HID is the same whether it's transported over USB or BLE ?

But the question remains the same:

• is it the general question - "what do I need to send"
• or is it "how do I send that in the  Nordic example"?

Yeah. I mean, how do I send that in the Nordic example?

I am not sure if these back/forward commands are "standardized" across OS and browsers? E.g. it would not be a problem to do this by sending a "alt+left arrow" or "alt+right arrow" if you add a keyboard hid descriptor, but not sure of other ways this could be done.
