NRF52 DK How to send multiple datas in BLE Mesh light_switch

Hi,

I successfully send the status of the button from the Switch board to the Light board in the light switch example in nRF Mesh v2.2. .But how can I send other sensor or switch data? and also How can I send array of data?

nRF SDK: nRF5_SDK_15.0.0

Mesh SDK:nrf5_SDK_for_Mesh_v2.2.0 

Developer Board: NRF95 DK

Hi,

Could you give more details about your use-case? What do you mean by "other sensor or switch data"?

Also, if you just started a new project, I recommend you to use our latest Mesh SDK(v5.0.0) instead of your current version. There has been quite a few improvements to the SDK from v2.2.0 to v5.0.0.

I will use 2 external buttons and one motion sensor. I also want to send 3 status data when changing the status on the buttons or sensor.

If I understand you correctly, you want to send a status message when pressing a button/activate the sensor? You should create an element for each of your buttons/sensors. If you take a look at the light switch client example in our latest SDK(v5.0.0), you can see how it is done.

I'm a little confused by this. You say you don't want to connect devices but wants two devices to connect to each other? Can you elaborate? The example I referred to doesn't connect to any devices. Note that in mesh there are no concept of connections between nodes. The nodes are broadcasting messages and any device in the network may relay this message towards the destination.

Hello Again, I don't think I've fully explained my problem to you. I have 2 NRF52-DK. The first development board and the two development board will communicate with each other. T The first development board has temperature and humidity sensor, distance sensor and button.How can I send sensor data from the first board to the second board ?
