[NRF5340] Regarding Comparator and ADC shared input pin

In my application we have an ADC input pin which we want to connect to comparator input too.

Based on the highlighted statement in section 7.6.1

Can the same analog pin be used to ADC input and comparator input if SAADC and COMP are not used at same time? or

do we need to use two dedicated pin for same the signal one for comparator and other for SAADC ?

You can use the same pin for both but not at the same time. You need to disable one and enable the other to switch between the two.

Thanks so to avoid the software overhead of enabling/disabling,
the same external signal can be routed to two separate AIN pins one dedicated for comparator and SAADC right?

Yes, that's also possible.
