Using the PPK2 with test scripts

Hi,

I just got my hands on a PPK2 and I really like it's ease of use with the Power profiler software. But I would like to write my own scripts to automate my tests. I saw a few forum posts talk about an API but it seemed like those were for the older PPK. So does the PPK2 have an API/library? Or can you provide any examples on how one can go about writing test scripts with the PPK2?

We do have an unofficial Python API to use with the PPK2. Have a look at this: https://github.com/IRNAS/ppk2-api-python

Thanks Øyvind! That's exactly what I was looking for. Any chance of an official API being launched by nordic?

And is there something(API/ Library/Tool) which integrates the PPK's power profiler and the BLE tool in the nRF connect for PC? Something which will allow me to test the BLE portion and the power profiling in the same script. I know I can use pc-ble-driver-py with the API you have provided but I would like to avoid reinventing the wheel if something like this already exists.

 I'm sorry, I do not have that information. You can contact you local RSM, who should be able to provide roadmap information.

 No, unfortunately not.
