beacon not showing in the nrf beacon app

Hi,

I'm testing the ble_app_beacon on my nrf51422 dk. I followed the instruction in the sdk documentation. All was well. Then, I tried to test with the nrf Beacon app on my ipad. I installed the iphone version although it's not compatible with iPad. I opened it and tried to add a beacon but none was detected. I tried adding nrf beacon and other beacon but no luck. I tried changing the app_company_identifier from 0x0059 to 0x004C, back and forth, repeated the steps, no luck too. Please help.

In fact, I got it working a while ago. I posted a question before and I got the answer. I came back and did the same thing but it's not working anymore. Please help.

Company id 0x004c. Check your Major & Minor, they are stored big endian. 1 = 0x00 0x01 not 0x01 0x00

So in my case, shouldn't the major and minor fairly straightforward. Major = 1 or 2, Minor = 3 or 4?

Regardless, it still didn't show the beacon on the app.
