nRF Connect "Error while getting readback protection"

Hi, 

I use nRF connect with a EVK-ANNA-B112 board to program a nrf52832 custom board. Everything was working fine until nRF connect updated to 3.6.1 version. When I try to connect to my custom board, I get this error :

"Error while getting readback protection"

I re-installed nrf connect 3.6.1 and j-link 6.88 which is the latest version supported version by nRF connect 3.6.1. It didn't resolve the problem. I tried on the computer of my collegue which has the same J-Link and nRF connect versions as on mine.  There was no problem.

What is the issue?

A similar issue a few months ago was reported as well. There the solution was to make sure the programmer power was actually connecting through the board, and that the board was supplied properly. Have you checked whether the cable you're using is working properly (did you use the same cable on your colleagues computer when testing as well?

Please also make sure that the nrfjprog version is the same on the working and non working computer.

Problem was that I was using a devkit from ublox to flash my device. Using a devkit from nordic solved the issue.
