NRF SDK compilation issue

Hi,

I am trying to compile ble_advertising.c file for a specific application based on nrf52840 and I am getting the following error:

Hi,

What softdevice and version are you using with the nRF52840?

I suggest to use the latest nRF5 SDK v17.0.2, it may be that the softdevice in nRF5 SDK v15.3 does not support what you want.

The soft device that I am using is components/softdevice/s140/hex/s140 nrf52 6.1.1 softdevice. The project is made for  nRF SDK 15.3 and it was created to run on XM122 IoT module developed by Acconeer. While compiling this file I had problem in providing NRF SDK path in global macros. Hence I have updated the header files in preprocessor manually. Is it possible that I have missed including any header files to get this kind of error?

Possible yes, but I think you may have included a softdevice header files that does not support the extended advertisement (e.g. you have included S112 instead of S140).

Thank you, for the suggestion. I was able to solve the error. Now I am getting a new error as follows:

\acconeer\XM122\xm122\source/main.c:127: undefined reference to `nrf_drv_power_init' . 

I have already  included the specified header files of nrf_drv_power.
