Working with nRF51822 mkit

Hello!

I'm working with nRF51822-mKit for my project. I've been using mbed IDE, but since they don't support central role, i had to switch to keil. But i have some problems using keil.. I'm not clear on a few thing like, how to flash softdevice s120 and how to upload application. I'm trying for about a week now but still no success.

I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me step by step how to get nRF51822-mKit working with keil (flashing softdevice s120 and flashing application).

I'm having problems starting even the most basic examples on mkit with keil.

Hi, have you seen this blog post? devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../ It explains how to flash the softdevice and how to set up the debugger in Keil

Also make sure that the Mkit supports the SDK and SD you are using. Mkit should use the revision 2 of the chip. If you look at the compatibility matrix here: www.nordicsemi.com/.../53073013 you can see that rev2 supports SDK 6.1.0 and SD s120 1.0.1. So you should be fine using these two versions.

I haven't tested it but I can not see any reasons why it shouldn't work.
