I need to estimate the power usage (so looking for TX and RX duty cycle) for the NRF52 during operation.
We will be connecting to a heart rate strap, and recording the beats per minuet. So I can assume we will mostly be in listening mode, but I am not sure if Nordic does other stuff as well.
What would the expected duty cycle be for TX and RX on the nrf52 during such an operation?
I think you should read up on BLE, and how connection parameters works in BLE. The data will be exchanged at connection intervals, and the radio will only be used during those connections events.
