Dear ,

          I use nrf connect  programmer to connect nRF52840 but it show ERROR "Could not fetch memory size of target devkit: Error: Error occured when get library info. Errorcode: CouldNotOpenDevice (0x4) Lowlevel error: JLINKARM_DLL_ERROR (ffffff9a)" .

          Do you have any idea how to fix this ?

This error means that nRF connect programmer app was not able to successfully call the JLINK ARM DLL. There's various reasons why this can fail, but it usually means that your local installation of the jlink drivers is either too old, or cannot be found by the programmer app.

Could you ensure that you have a newer version of the segger jlink drivers installed?

To see which version nrfjprog selects, you can go to a command line prompt and enter "nrfjprog --version" and paste the output.

        Thanks for your reply.

I tried this command "nrfjprog --version".

The output is as below,I think 6.88a is not old version of segger.

C:\Users\a78924>nrfjprog --version
nrfjprog version: 9.8.1
JLinkARM.dll version: 6.88a

Your nrfjprog version is quite old. Could you try installing a newer version?

Hello, 

I am running the latest version and I still noticed this issue today.
C:\>nrfjprog --version
nrfjprog version: 10.12.1
JLinkARM.dll version: 7.00a

I have probed VDD and it is stable at 1.8V. Will provide an update if I manage to solve the issue.
