spi loop back test without any external hardware support

Hi ,

My environment:

• nrf5340 dk board
• nrf connect sdk
• segger studio IDE

.

I want to test spi loop back without any connections. 

I don't want to connect any external device.

I don't want to use single wire for connection.

Is there any internal loop back to test SPI ? if yes, please provide me an example for this test.

Hi,

 

If you have a sample running with SPIM (https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/73263/nrf5340-spi-example-code), you can connect the MISO and MOSI pin together for loopback testing. There's no other way to do this with the nRF-devices.
