I've built a small BLE-device based on the nrf8001.
With my Iphone I can discover this device and I am able to connect to it and listen to notifications of the characteristics.
I tried to discover the device with two state of the art android smartphones borrowed from my colleagues, but it is just not detectable. I tried a custom made app and also common BLE scanner apps.
On my Iphone there is a BLE scanner app that offers the feature to simulate BLE peripherals. Further there is the option to "clone" the devices, that I can connect to. So I connected to my nrf8001 device and used this cloning feature to simulate a peripheral.
This clone of my nrf8001 device is discoverable by Android.
Does anybody have a clue, how I can fix this issue? Is there something I need to activate to be discoverable by Android devices?
