Gazell Datarate Seems Very Low

Hello,

I've modified some of the gazelle sample code and I've been testing the throughput. I am basically using all the default settings and I'm seeing throughput of 43Kbps. I test this by setting a GPIO just before I add a packet to the TX fifo, then clear the same GPIO once I get the TX Success callback. The gpio pulse is approximately 5.94ms. 32 bytes / .00594 * 8 bits_per_byte = 43Kbps. This is with the device and host set to 2MBps data rate. I've tried increasing the tx power, adjusting out of sync counts and more but nothing is really increasing my data rate. Am I missing something here or is the advertised data rate meaningless in regards to actual data throughput?

Thanks.
