Hi, I'm using the Taiyo Yuden nRF51822 module, which use a 32MHz crystal. Our team is still prototyping, so everything is still programmed and assembled by hand. On one of the recent batches, I had forgotten to program the UICR for the 32MHz crystal. Astoundingly, while I was sequentially running some hardware test code, everything functioned until I hit the SoftDevice. After far too much head-scratching and some half-functional code, I figured out the problem, but afterwards, somehow, a few of the devices have consistently 20-30dB less RSSI from our phones than the other devices. Is it possible that some UICRs with radio calibration may have been trashed during the recovery process, or is there nothing that can be trashed? (took quite a few attempts to tame it to the point where we could program the clock configuration UICR). It's also possible these were overheated during soldering and rework, but I'd like to make sure that's the only possibility before throwing these out. I haven't run into this problem before, but we also haven't assembled a batch this large until now.
