PPK2 turning off voltage regulator after disconnect?

Hi,

I noticed that the PPK2 turns off the internal voltage regulator upon disconnecting from it. Is there a possibility to change that behavior? I would like the voltage regulator to stay on, as I can't have the Power Profiler connected to the device all the time.

 So you will disconnect the PPK2 from the software, but still, have it connected to the computer then... I don't actually get the use case.
