nRF52840 programming

Hello all,

we are trying to set up a project with a nRF52840 chip in combination with 2 Acconeer A111 sensors.
So far I have worked with a nRF52840 development kit and the Segger Embedded Studio, as there are also sample programs from Acconeer available.
Next, I would like to get our custom board up and running and tune the programs to it.
However, I would like to change from Segger Studio in connection with a J-Linker to a more cost-effective variant.
Is there a suitable alternative for this, or with which programmer and with which software can the nRF chip be programmed best?
Would Eclipse as software be an option?

Greetings
