Peripheral reconnect to known central

Hi,

I have a peripheral, that should connect to a central automatically. The problem is, there might be multiple

centrals with the same target name available and the central should only connect to the one, it already knows from

the last connection.

How can I achieve this?

I have seen, that the auto reconnection can be achieved by using the device manager, but I cannot find any example project in the Nordic SDK. Is this somehow a third party library?

Hi,

Device Manager is from an old SDK version. It was replaced by Peer Manager, which is the module used in newer versions of the SDK. (Both of these modules are parts of the respective versions of the nRF5 SDK.) The HID Keyboard Application example mentioned above is using Peer Manager.

Ok, thank you, I will have a look at this. What if I have two centrals, that want to automatically reconnect to a peripheral. Can I also implement the white list on the central instead the peripheral?

You can use whitelist on central, yes. Peer Manager supports that.
