BLE_app_hrs downloaded but not working

Hi,

I am new to all this, I have just started using the nRF51822 evaluation kit. I have manged to run the blinky example, however, eventhough I managed to download the BLE app, my board in non responsive.

Does anybody have any idea of where I may be going wrong. I am using the softdevice version s110 8.0.0

Hi,

I attempted to recreate the issue you are having, and I encountered a problem where the board would not start indicating that it is advertising(LED_1 blinking periodically), or actually advertising. For me the problem was fixed by pressing the restart button.

If the problem persists you can try reflashing, and making sure that you are flashing the correct device(e.g. you have a J-Link dongle connected that is being flashed by mistake). You can also use Master Control Panel to scan for advertising devices as described in the tutorial on BLE Advertising.
