Why Uart need to enable?

Hi forum,

I am working on nrf52832, using sdk 15.0.0. I am working on Ble_beacon using sdk sample code.

In the Sdk_config.h file default enable uart0. Why this need to enable?

when Enable Uart0 it consume more current on my device?

plaese help me for solve this issue.

The example has logging over UART enabled by default. You can disable the UART logger backend in your sdk_config header.
