Aruba Access Point BLE local device name

This is really a shot in the dark.  I'm working on a BLE application using an nRF52840 that communicates via an Aruba Networks wireless network.  Specifically I'm using an Aruba 9000 series controller and AP-515 access points that support blue tooth.

I think the Aruba access point has an nRF radio (microcontroller) inside it.

When I enabled BLE beaconing on the access point it shows up like this:

The local device name is something wacky.  I have no idea what that string 9AAA0RRC2... means.  So I asked Aruba, and they said "Ask Nordic."  That struck me as strange because it seems like HPE would have just bought chips from Nordic and put them on their board with their own software - it's not as if the software would have come from Nordic (I don't think)?

Like I said, this is a total shot in the dark, but does anybody know anything about this?
