Connecting to a nonscannable device

Hi

I'm working on an application that utilizes CODED_PHY.

I'm working on top of ble_app_blinky examples (central and peripheral).

I've seen this post on DevZone:

https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/54867/ble_app_blinky-example-enable-long-rage-and-nrf-blinky-app-to-scan-device/222679#222679

The question I have is:

Is it possible to use BLE_GAP_ADV_TYPE_EXTENDED_CONNECTABLE_NONSCANNABLE_UNDIRECTED and connect to a central device straight from "long range mode", without having to switch to "normal mode" prior to connecting?

Thank you
